What are dried flowers, and how are they different from fresh flowers?

Dried flowers are real flowers that have undergone a preservation process to remove moisture, allowing them to maintain their beauty and structure for an extended period. Unlike fresh flowers, dried flowers will last years with proper care.

How long do dried flower arrangements typically last?

With appropriate care, such as keeping them away from humidity, and dust, dried flower arrangements can last between one to three years (longer, if they do not get wet/damp).

How should I care for my dried flowers to ensure they last?

Placement: Display them in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and humidity. While dried flowers can be placed in direct sunlight, prolonged exposure will cause the colours to fade, and they may change shape over time. For best results, keep them in a shaded spot. 
Cleaning: It is recommended to dust dried flowers using a hairdryer on a cold setting or a handheld fan to gently blow on the flowers and remove dust. Handling: Handle dried flowers with care as they are delicate. Minimise touching them to prevent damage, and remember that dried flowers do not require water.Please note that dried flowers are highly flammable. Keep them away from open fire flames, and ensure that pets or small children do not ingest them.

Can dried flowers be placed in direct sunlight?

Yes, dried flowers can be placed in direct sunlight, however, prolonged exposure to sunlight will cause the colours of the flowers to fade, and they may also change shape over time. For best results, it is recommended to display them in a shaded area to preserve their original appearance.

Are dried flowers safe for people with hay fever?

Dried flowers do not have any active pollen, so they should not affect people with hay fever. However, if you are particularly sensitive or have concerns, it is always a good idea to consult a medical professional for reassurance.

Are dried flowers safe for pets?

While dried flowers do not contain active pollen, some plants used in dried arrangements can be toxic to pets if ingested. It is recommended to keep dried flowers out of reach of pets and consult a veterinarian if you are concerned about your pet ingesting any flowers.

Do you offer custom dried flower arrangements?

Yes, we offer custom dried flower arrangements tailored to your preferences. Does your XL fluffy pampas grass shed, and how should I care for it?

Our extra fluffy pampas grass is high-quality and makes a stunning statement in any space. While it has minimal shedding, some shedding is natural, especially in high-traffic areas. To maintain its appearance, display it in a dry area away from moisture and handle it gently, as the stems are delicate. When your pampas grass arrives, hover a hairdryer on a low, warm setting approximately 50cm away to remove loose fibres. Top tip: Place it near a radiator, and it will fluff up quickly. Pampas does not require water and will last for 3+ years, although its colour may fade over time. Please note that pampas grass is highly flammable. Keep it away from open fire flames, and ensure that pets or small children do not ingest it.

Are your dried flowers environmentally friendly?

We prioritise sustainability by sourcing our flowers responsibly and using eco-friendly preservation methods wherever possible. However, please note that some of our flowers are ink-dyed, spray-painted, or hand-painted, which may not be considered eco-friendly. We are continually working to improve our processes and reduce environmental impact while providing high-quality products.

Shipping & Returns

What are the delivery options and timescales?

We aim to dispatch orders within 7-10 days of your order being placed, though this may take longer during busy periods. Once dispatched, typical delivery takes between 2 to 5 business days. Standard shipping is £3.95. For orders over £60 shipping is free every time you shop with us. Please note, there is a special shipping charge if an extra large box is required.

What is your returns and refund policy?

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order to arrange a return or exchange. Items must be returned in their original condition, and the customer is liable for the postage costs to return the order. 

Once a refund has been issued, please allow up to 10 working days for the funds to appear in your bank account.

How can i track my order?

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking details to monitor your delivery and stay updated on its progress. How are the dried flowers packaged for delivery?

Our dried flowers are carefully packaged in double-wall cardboard boxes to ensure they arrive in pristine condition. We use eco-friendly materials, including packaging that can be disposed of in your paper bin and biodegradable packing peanuts made from potato starch that dissolve in water. This helps minimise our environmental impact while protecting your order during transit.

Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we currently offer international shipping to the USA, with delivery taking 7-10 working days from dispatch. We are also expanding our shipping destinations and will soon be able to ship to Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, France, Denmark, and Ireland. Delivery times for these countries will be confirmed once shipping begins.

Can I include a personalised message with my order?

Yes, you can leave a note at checkout with your message, and we’ll include it with your order. We also offer beautiful small dried flower cards with envelopes, and we can write your personalised message inside as a handwritten note at no extra cost for an extra special touch.
